The highly anticipated MPL Philippines Season 15 is set to launch on February 28, 2025, with an electrifying opener featuring Twisted Minds and Aurora Gaming. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, February 14, 2025, at 3 pm for just PHP 200.
This season, themed “Heroes Within,” celebrates the players, coaches, and community that have contributed to the league’s success, making it the country’s longest-running and most-viewed esports program. The league has garnered immense support with the entry of Timezone, the “Ultimate Indoor Family Entertainment Center,” alongside longstanding partners Smart Communications, Inc., and Infinix. Popular gaming chair brand TTRacing also joins the esports partners.
The 15th season kicks off at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati, welcoming new esports giants Twisted Minds (TWIS) and Team Falcons (FLCN), along with new and returning pro players and brand partners. The opening match between TWIS and Aurora Gaming (RORA) will be a best-of-three (BO3) series at 5 pm, followed by a clash between world champions ONIC Philippines (ONIC) and TNC Pro Team (TNC).
Matches will be held on Fridays and Sundays at 5 pm, and on Saturdays at 2:30 pm. Tickets are available via the MPL Philippines website. Fans attending the matches can meet their MPL PH idols, join community tournaments, participate in MPL Playground activities, and take home exclusive items.

Season 15 introduces new teams and major roster changes to elevate the competition. Former AP Bren players now join Saudi Arabia-based Team Falcons, making their league debut. TNC Pro Team undergoes a massive overhaul, welcoming Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera back to the Philippines after his stint in Indonesia. ONIC Philippines retains its world-champion roster, adding Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales as its sixth man. Smart Omega continues to be led by veteran Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog.
MPL PH Season 14 runner-up RORA retains its main five, while Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) introduces new Gold Laner Kiel Calvin “OHEB” Soriano, dubbed “The Filipino Sniper” while TWIS’ quintet will be led by “KDA Machine” Salic “Hadji” Imam.
Offline spectators and online fans can look forward to bigger activations from official partners Smart Communications, Inc., and Infinix. This season also welcomes Timezone and TTRacing as new partners. Infinix will launch the second season of its MPL PH Infinix FANSiklaban, offering fans a chance to represent their community in weekly MLBB matches with prizes. Smart will continue its MPL PH Battle Trips Program, inviting students to workshops about esports broadcasting, production, logistics, league operations, and journalism. Smart will also launch a Discord Community Hub for prepaid users to host special events and giveaways.
Timezone brings nostalgic family entertainment to the MPL PH Playground with iconic carnival games, offering merchandise and vouchers for use at any Timezone branch nationwide.
The event also revealed that the newly-formed professional MLBB league for women, Athena League, will host the qualifying tournament for the upcoming MLBB Women’s Invitational at the Esports World Cup. The MLBB Student Leaders Collegiate Cup (MCC) will now have a direct slot for its champion to compete in the MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines.
