Kuro Games has just released the highly anticipated Wuthering Waves version 2.1, now available on mobile, PC, and PlayStation 5. This update brings a wealth of new content and optimizations that fans of the game will surely appreciate. From new regions and resonators to exciting events and gameplay enhancements, there’s something for everyone in this latest version.
Players can now explore the Riccioli Islands and Vault Underground, two new regions filled with challenges and secrets. The update also introduces two new five-star resonators, Phoebe and Brant, along with powerful new weapons like the Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor. Additionally, a new companion story titled “Sail Day, Captain!” and an exploration quest called “Silent as a Falling Leaf” add depth to the game’s narrative.
For those who enjoy combat, Wuthering Waves version 2.1 offers new weekly gameplay with “Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways” and a permanent challenge called “Whispering Wastes.” There’s also a new tactical hologram challenge, “Tactical Hologram: Hecate,” and several new echoes to discover, including Rage Against the Statue and Hurriclaw.
The update doesn’t stop there. Players will find numerous optimizations, such as echo presets for easy customization and camera enhancements for capturing stunning photos of their resonators. Ray-Traced Global Illumination is now available, providing enhanced visual fidelity for those with compatible NVIDIAⓇ GeForce RTX™ 40 series graphics cards.
In addition to gameplay updates, new merchandise is available, including figurines and themed sets. Players can also look forward to several new events, such as the “Old Man and The Whale” fishing adventure and the “Gifts of Blue Water” seven-day login event.
Excitingly, Wuthering Waves will be available on the Mac App Store starting March 27, 2025, expanding its reach to even more players.
