HoYoverse has announced the release of Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.1, titled “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne,” set to launch on February 26. This update promises to take players on an exhilarating Flame-Chase Journey, introducing new territories and a host of thrilling events. Two new playable characters, Tribbie and Mydei, will join the adventure, each bringing unique abilities and stories to the game.
In the previous chapter, players successfully reclaimed Nikador’s Coreflame, but the journey is far from over. In Version 3.1, players will explore the new map, “Grove of Epiphany,” a city-state dedicated to Cerces, the Reason Titan. This area has been a hub of knowledge and research, crucial to the Flame-Chase Journey. However, it has recently fallen under attack, and players must rescue survivors, uncover the truth behind the catastrophe, and reclaim Cerces’ Coreflame to restore hope.
The update also introduces the “Abyss of Fate,” previously known as “Janusopolis,” where players will uncover secrets from the “Era Chrysea.” Tribbie, a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, will play a significant role in this storyline. As the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, Tribbie can deploy zones that increase damage to enemies and provide buffs to teammates, making her a valuable asset in battles.
Mydei, the second new 5-star character, is the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos and a warrior following the Path of Destruction. Mydei’s abilities allow him to consume HP to charge and enter an enhanced form, dealing massive damage to enemies. His undying nature and powerful attacks make him a formidable opponent on the battlefield.
Version 3.1 also brings back limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo in the warp event, offering players another chance to add these powerful allies to their team. Additionally, the new season of Divergent Universe introduces the “Day and Night System,” where battles alternate between day and night, each state providing unique boosts and effects.
Players will also participate in The Awooo Firm event, managing a chimera squad in Okhema to help them become the strongest team. Honkai: Star Rail continues to expand its universe with new characters, storylines, and events, keeping players engaged and excited for what’s to come.
