Fans of the Gundam SEED universe have a reason to celebrate as Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announces the remastered release of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED BATTLE DESTINY. Originally launched in 2012 for the PlayStation®Vita, this fan-favorite action RPG is set to make its debut in the West on May 22, 2025, with enhanced visuals and new gameplay features on Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam®.
The remastered version promises to deliver an immersive experience with improved graphics, a redesigned user interface, and a new target lock-on mode. For the first time, the game will also feature English localization, making it accessible to a broader audience. Players can look forward to engaging in fast-paced hack-and-slash mecha combat, reliving iconic battles from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series.
In MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED BATTLE DESTINY REMASTERED, players step into the shoes of a soldier during turbulent times, choosing to align with one of three factions: Earth Alliance, Z.A.F.T, or Archangel. The game includes story missions based on memorable moments from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, and side stories like Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: STARGAZER. With over 100 mobile suits to choose from, players can customize their mechs for thrilling battles.
The remaster retains the core gameplay of the original while introducing new mechanics and quality-of-life improvements. Enhanced tuning options, streamlined mission selection, and the newly added lock-on mode ensure a smoother and more accessible gaming experience.
