ARK: Survival Ascended fans are in for a treat with the release of Astraeos, a stunning Greek Odyssey-themed DLC created by renowned community map author Nekatus. Originally a community mod, Astraeos has now been elevated to Official Partner DLC status, bringing a host of new features to the game. Players can now explore this breathtaking world on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Steam PC for $14.99.
Astraeos offers an expansive 264km² landscape filled with mysteries and inspired by Greek mythology. The map features towering mountain ridges, ancient ruins, sacred temples, and marble-like cliffs overlooking white sand beaches and cherry blossom groves. Players will face powerful mythological bosses such as Medusa, the Cyclops, and the Minotaur, while also discovering the new Maeguana creature variant, which enhances baby-rearing efficiency.
The DLC is fully integrated into ARK: Survival Ascended’s official gameplay, ensuring a seamless experience. Players can use a teleportation system for fast travel between spawn areas. Creator Nekatus plans to expand Astraeos over time with new realms, updates, and challenges.
In addition to Astraeos, the annual Love Ascended in-game event is now live, celebrating Valentine’s Day with new holiday items like Chibi Lovebirds, Pair-o-Saurs, and comfy Pajamas outfits. This event is available across all versions of ARK: Survival Ascended, Ultimate Mobile Edition, and Switch until February 19, 2025.
For those new to ARK: Survival Ascended, the game is on sale this week with discounts on the base game and select DLCs. Players can create a Survivor, form a tribe, and tame, train, breed, and ride dinosaurs within a living ecosystem.
