In Sunseed Island, you play as the last animal-person born from the Tree of Life, a little cat with a mysterious star on its head. Unlike other dwellers who know their life’s calling, your character’s mission is unknown. With the village deserted and the Tree wilted, it’s up to you to change the island’s fate.
The game begins with a tale of creation, where islands emerged from a vast ocean, forming an archipelago blessed with the Tree of Life. This tree assigned roles and jobs to its inhabitants, creating a harmonious community. However, acid rains brought devastation, causing the Tree’s leaves to fall and the community’s hopes to wither.
Players will start their journey in a humble farmhouse, gathering materials, planting crops, and rebuilding the town. As new buildings like the lighthouse and animal keeper are constructed, new characters with unique resource-gathering abilities will return to the village.
But the adventure doesn’t end there. With the help of a sharky resident, players can explore other islands in the archipelago, discovering materials for upgrades, rare items, and unique recipes.
