TEKKEN™ 8 is kicking off Season 2 with a bang, bringing back the fan-favorite character Anna Williams in the Spring DLC update. Known as the “Scarlet Lightning,” Anna Williams makes her triumphant return, expanding the game’s roster to 37 fighters. This season promises even more excitement with plans to release three additional characters, including two returning legends and one new challenger.
A Legendary Character Returns
Anna Williams, who first appeared in the original TEKKEN™, is launching today with 72-hour early access for Season 2 Character Pass holders and players who purchase the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass. Starting later today, TEKKEN 8 will also introduce new Season 2 Deluxe Edition and Season 2 Ultimate Edition, which include the Season 2 characters and early access for new players. Anna Williams and the Spring DLC update will be available to all players on April 3.
Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN 8 is the critically acclaimed sequel that brings the legendary fighting game franchise to current platforms. Utilizing Unreal® Engine 5, the game features stunningly detailed character models and dynamic, destructible environments. In TEKKEN 8, Anna continues her quest for revenge against her sister Nina Williams. With the help of genius weapons developer Dr. Nakamura, Anna wields a compact, transformable weapon named “Lovely Tom,” designed for maximum destruction.
Exciting New Updates
In addition to Anna Williams’ return, TEKKEN 8 will feature an exciting cross-collaboration with Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land, bringing free items in a planned Season 2 update. To celebrate PAC-MAN™’s 45th anniversary, a special collaborative stage will be added to TEKKEN 8 this summer, with more details to be announced later.
