The Green Sun Hotel in Makati was the battleground for an intense day of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang action as MPL Philippines (MPL PH) Season 15 returned for its seventh week after a hiatus.
Smart Omega managed to fend off Twisted Minds with a 2-1 victory, marking their second win against the same opponents this season. The series began with Omega securing a comeback win in 14 minutes and eight seconds.
Twisted Minds retaliated in Game 2 but Smart Omega’s Ling pick for the jungle gave them a swift 11-minute victory.
In the second match of the day, Team Falcons Philippines sixth man Vincent “Pandora” Unigo made his season debut in place of Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo.
Though conceding the first game, Team Falcons PH bounced back with a 24 minute game to tie the series and Pandora shining with a Kalea pick on Game Three to secure their victory.
