Game For Change: Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC) Season 3 Levels Up Collegiate Esports in the Philippines

The Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC) is back for its third season, reaffirming its place as the premier collegiate esports program in the country. Spearheaded by the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE), the PCC continues to redefine academic and competitive gaming, offering both national-level tournaments and student-focused esports education.

Season 3 kicks off with two major titles — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Call of Duty: Mobile (COD:M) — and a PHP 500,000 prize pool, split between the two.

Building a Lasting Esports Ecosystem

“Our mission from the very start has always been ‘Game For Change,’” said Stanley Lao, CEO of CCE. “Through PCC, we go beyond tournaments. We’re creating a platform that gives students hands-on industry experience and holistic opportunities to build real careers in esports.”

Benson Te, CEO of WP Gaming and marketing partner of PCC, added, “We’ve always focused on sustainable grassroots growth. This isn’t about one-off events—it’s about building something meaningful and long-term for the Filipino gaming community. We’re seeing more brands come on board and align with our mission, which is incredibly exciting.”
