Announced during a special livestream on July 11, the update brings a sizzling mix of new story content, swimsuit skins, SSR characters, and even real-world activations—all designed to give Commanders a summer to remember.
Launching on July 17, the update headlined “BOOM! THE GHOST!” invites players to investigate a seemingly abandoned cruise ship—only to uncover a paranormal mystery that challenges both their tactical skills and their nerves.

Set aboard a haunted cruise liner, the event introduces a thrilling supernatural narrative with puzzle-solving and ghost-hunting elements. Players will work to develop anti-paranormal equipment while unraveling a chilling mystery on the Surface. It’s NIKKE like you’ve never seen before.
🌊 Meet the New SSR NIKKEs
Two all-new SSR characters will join the roster during the Summer Season update:
- SSR Dorothy: Serendipity
Drawn by a mysterious silhouette in a faded photo, Dorothy boards the ghost ship in search of her cherished mechanical wings, Pinne. Expect a powerfully emotional arc for this fan-favorite. - SSR Elegg: Boom and Shock
