VANCOUVER – South Korea’s and League of Legends Champions Korea’s (LCK) top seed Gen.G Esports triumphed over rivals T1, 3-2, to once again lift the MSI trophy.
The defending champions saw an undefeated run, dispatching G2 Esports, 3-1 and then surviving a best of five series against League of Legends Pro League’s (LPL) Anyone’s Legend and T1, including the grand finals, to successfully secure a back-to-back MSI crown.
Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon was proclaimed finals MVP while the team automatically booked their spot in the 2025 League of Legends World Championship happening in China this October.
Both T1 and Gen.G will be flying to Riyadh to take part in the Esports World Cup, League of Legends event beginning July 16.
