🔥 Armor King Returns October 16 with Explosive Gameplay

The legendary Armor King makes his grand comeback in Tekken 8, complete with a fiery new look and his signature brutal wrestling combos. Nicknamed the “Dark Supernova,” this jet-black beast now boasts a flaming mane and brings a high-impact moveset that’s already shaking up the meta.

Revealed during EVO via an action-packed gameplay trailer, Armor King officially joins the Tekken 8 roster on October 16, 2025. Players who hold the Season 2 Character Pass or Character & Stage Pass will receive 72-hour early access starting October 13.

This addition brings the total number of fighters in Tekken 8 to 39, with more coming soon as the game enters its second season of post-launch content.

Following a thrilling EVO showdown where Arslan Ash once again claimed victory, Bandai Namco closed out the weekend with a major esports announcement: The Tekken World Tour 2025 Finals will be held in Malmö, Sweden, from January 29 to February 1, 2026.

  • Group Stages (Global + Regional Leaderboards): January 29–30
  • Finals Main Event: January 31 – February 1

This will be the first time Sweden hosts the grand finale of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, and it promises to deliver icy competition and unforgettable matchups.
