PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 37.1 Brings Bugatti Hypercars, UGC Alpha Expansion, and the Return of POBG

PUBG

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is leveling up style, creativity, and nostalgia with Update 37.1, now live on PC and coming soon to consoles. The latest patch headlines a high-octane collaboration with Bugatti, a major expansion to the UGC Alpha player-creation platform, and the much-requested return of fan-favorite arcade mode POBG—now with a brand-new map.

PUBG

Luxury Meets Battle Royale with Bugatti Hypercars

In a rare crossover between luxury automotive and survival shooter, PUBG introduces two exclusive hypercar skins for the Coupe RB: the Bugatti Chiron and Chiron (Édition Spéciale).

These skins come with 14 paint colors, 4 interior styles, 7 wheel options, and 7 brake caliper designs, plus themed costume sets. Special containers will spawn on starting islands in Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo—unlockable only by players who own the Bugatti skins.

The Chiron (Édition Spéciale) features even more detail, including authentic engine and backfire sounds, an active rear wing, and a custom boost effect—bringing the feel of a real hypercar into the chaos of the battleground.

UGC Alpha Expansion Opens Creative Doors

The UGC Alpha platform, PUBG’s experimental creative mode, has officially expanded. Available exclusively on PC, it lets players design custom rules, game logic, and in-world objects—opening the door to gameplay experiences far beyond standard battle royale.

Through the October update, PUBG Plus subscribers can host and create custom sessions, while all players can join and explore sample modes currently in rotation. This expansion gives creators more tools to experiment and share unique game types with the community.

POBG Returns with a Pixel-Art Twist

PUBG

The retro-inspired mini-game POBG—first introduced as an April Fools’ event in 2021—returns for a limited time, now featuring a new pixel-art map: Paramo. Players can once again take a break from high-stakes matches to battle waves of chicken bosses in this lighthearted, arcade-style mode.

Additional Gameplay Updates in 37.1

Beyond the big features, Update 37.1 delivers multiple refinements and seasonal changes, including:

  • A new ranked season
  • An updated Survivor Pass
  • DMR balance adjustments
  • Removal of canted sights
  • Destructible props and vending machines on select maps

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 37.1 is live now for PC players, with the console rollout coming soon. For the full patch notes, visit pubg.com/en and follow PUBG on YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch and TikTok.
