The ice is finally breaking. After five years in development, indie studio GoldFire Studios has confirmed that its highly anticipated first-person narrative thriller Arctic Awakening will launch on September 18, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Set against the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness, Arctic Awakening begins with what should have been a routine supply drop. For pilots Kai and Donovan, the mission quickly spirals into disaster when a sudden storm tears their aircraft apart. Donovan vanishes, leaving Kai stranded in the snow with only an unwanted court-mandated therapy bot named Alfie for company.
