Tom & Jerry Take to the Skies as Acecraft Launches Worldwide on August 28

Acecraft

Get ready for hand-drawn chaos in the skies. MOONTON Games, the studio behind the global hit Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, has announced that its brand-new mobile title Acecraft will officially launch worldwide on August 28, 2025. The game promises to shake up the shoot ’em up genre with its unique blend of co-op bullet hell action, frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation, and a massive crossover featuring the legendary duo Tom & Jerry.

The Cat-and-Mouse Rivalry Takes Flight

For the first time ever, Tom & Jerry are leaving living rooms and chasing each other into the skies of Cloudia. The global launch of Acecraft brings a limited-time crossover that transforms the duo’s slapstick chaos into high-flying mayhem. Players will be able to experience themed events, unlock exclusive rewards, and watch the timeless chase play out in the middle of explosive bullet hell battles.

This debut collaboration sets the tone for Acecraft’s future as a living, evolving IP where pop culture icons can collide with the game’s original world.

Rewards for Early Pilots

To celebrate the global launch, players jumping into Acecraft on day one will have access to a series of special events packed with rewards. From exclusive bonuses to themed in-game items, these launch-day activities build on the momentum of Acecraft’s July pre-registration campaign, which already attracted more than 7 million players worldwide.

A Hand-Drawn Bullet Hell Adventure

One of Acecraft’s standout features is its cast of eight Ace Pilots, each brought to life through traditional frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation. From Amelia, the cheerful girl next door flying her candy-pink aircraft, to Elsa, the sharp-shooting bounty hunter who bends luck to her will, every pilot comes with unique abilities and personality-driven flair.

The artistry has already caught the attention of legendary animator John Pomeroy (Tom & Jerry), who praised the game’s expressive animation. “The interesting part of Acecraft’s animation is that I see glimmers of the acting and personality of the characters. That’s the hard part. I’m really impressed.”

MOONTON has also released a behind-the-scenes feature with Pomeroy, where he discusses the game’s rubber hose animation style and even sketches Joey, one of the Ace Pilots, in his signature style.

Cloudia: A World Under Siege

At the heart of Acecraft is Cloudia, a floating world divided into distinct islands, each with its own dangers and designs. Players will embark on their journey from the Ark of Hope, a massive airship tasked with defending Cloudia from the terrifying Nightmare Legion.

Each island offers unique challenges—whether it’s battling dessert monsters in Sweetopia, dodging spirits in Ghost Swamp, or solving shifting mazes in Wonderland. Every stage introduces new enemies and mechanics, keeping the action fast-paced and varied as players hunt for the stolen Key of Destiny.
