MANILA – Smart Omega and Team Falcons start the the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 16 with wins against TNC Pro Team and Aurora.
The Barangay, with a new roster featuring returning players from overseas as well as former Omega players, took down TNC, 2-1.
Closing the night, Team Falcons debuted former MDL champions, Edferdz “Ferdz” Fernandez against Aurora who they swept 2-0. Both games saw Aurora with the lead only for Team Falcons to swoop on their prey at the most opportune moment to take the series.
MPL PH Season 16 Week continues with the usual Saturday triple header: AP Bren versus Smart Omega, Team Falcons versus Twisted Minds and the week’s star match: MSC champions Team Liquid PH against M6 champions ONIC Philippines.
