PUBG x G-DRAGON Collab Headlines Update 37.2 with New Interactions and Miramar Overhaul

PUBG

PUBG: Battlegrounds has dropped Update 37.2, and it’s one of the most content-packed patches in recent memory. Leading the charge is the highly anticipated PUBG x G-DRAGON collaboration, which introduces exclusive cosmetics, themed in-game features, and special events tied to the global music icon. But the update doesn’t stop there—players can also expect smarter tactical interactions, a refreshed Miramar hotspot, and new seasonal content.

G-DRAGON Takes Over the Battlegrounds

The headline feature of Update 37.2 is the limited-time PUBG x G-DRAGON collaboration, transforming maps, cosmetics, and gameplay into a celebration of the K-pop star’s style and music.

Highlights include:

  • Emote Stages – Starting islands across Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo now host G-DRAGON performance stages where players can dance before boarding the plane.
  • Miramar Makeover – Landmarks like the Truck Stop (styled after the “PO₩ER” MV), decorated gas stations, and immersive Fan Rooms bring the artist’s world into PUBG.
  • Branded Details – Themed care packages, Blue Chip Towers, planes, and vehicle music all carry G-DRAGON flair.
  • Progressive AUG Skin – The new G-DRAGON AUG, available via Contraband Crates, levels up through ten tiers of cosmetics and features, making it a centerpiece of the collab.

On top of cosmetics, Krafton is also hosting web events, missions, and a Lucky Draw giveaway where fans can win exclusive rewards, including autographed albums and in-game sets.

Miramar Overhaul: Minas Generales Streamlined

Beyond the collaboration, Update 37.2 brings meaningful map improvements. Minas Generales in Miramar has been reworked with:

  • Cleaner building layouts for faster looting
  • Adjusted terrain for fairer high/low-ground battles
  • New loot spots and balanced cover points
  • Brighter interiors and visual touch-ups to improve readability

These changes make Miramar’s mining hub less punishing while keeping it competitive for both casual and ranked players.

Smarter Interactions That Change How You Play

Update 37.2 also introduces new mechanics that shake up PUBG’s tactical depth:

  • Movable Deathboxes – Drag fallen enemies’ loot into safer cover—or use it as bait.
  • Pull Doors – Open doors inward or outward, creating new entry strategies and ambush options.
  • Destructible Gas Tanks – Found on Miramar and Taego, these now explode into lingering smoke, doubling as on-the-fly cover.

These subtle but game-changing features encourage creativity in firefights and more dynamic squad tactics.

More Content in 37.2

Alongside G-DRAGON and gameplay changes, the update includes:

  • A brand-new Survivor Pass with themed rewards
  • Targeted updates to Team Deathmatch and Intense Battle Royale modes
  • The return of seasonal events, Survivors Left Behind and Hungers Left Behind

With competitive tweaks and new loot options, PUBG continues to refine its balance while keeping seasonal content fresh.

A Patch Worth Dropping Into

From the flashy PUBG x G-DRAGON collaboration to practical combat interactions and a refined Miramar experience, Update 37.2 balances spectacle with substance. Players can dive in now on PC, with console content rolling out September 18.
