Tactical shooter fans are in for an explosive update as Garena Delta Force gears up to launch its brand-new season, War Ablaze, on September 23 for PC and mobile. The upcoming season promises a fiery mix of fresh content including a new Recon Operator, an atmospheric Warfare map, Operations mode expansions, and an exclusive horror crossover that’s bound to thrill players worldwide.
New Operator and Map Heat Up the Battlefield
The highlight of War Ablaze is the introduction of Recon Operator “Raptor”, a bounty hunter and intel specialist who uses drones to dominate the battlefield. Designed to adapt to the game’s new dynamic weather system, Raptor gives squads a tactical edge in both Warfare and Operations modes.
Also making its debut is the “Fault” Warfare map, a battleground blending ancient ruins with high-tech combat. Players will face intense aerial and ground skirmishes while contending with dense fog that can either conceal movement or spell disaster. The addition of the F-45A Fighter Jet elevates the stakes, offering exhilarating dogfights in the skies.
Expanding Operations Mode
Garena is also pushing forward with fresh content for Operations Mode:
- Tide Prison is coming to mobile, introducing fearsome bosses Warden and Raven, guardians players must defeat to liberate Ahsarah from the abyss.
- Layali Grove undergoes a fiery environmental transformation, bringing new hazards and tactical opportunities.
A brand-new Season Pass will also roll out alongside the update, offering exclusive cosmetics, rewards, and progression perks.
A Horror Crossover: SAW Joins the Fight
War Ablaze will also feature a chilling crossover with Lionsgate’s iconic horror franchise, SAW. Players can unlock themed items including:
- A SAW-inspired Operator skin
- Firearm appearances
- A Billy-Wolf charm and loot item
This collaboration adds a sinister edge to the battlefield, giving fans a new way to customize their loadouts.
Delta Force Invitational World Championship (Sep 19–21)
Ahead of the new season, Garena is hosting the Delta Force Invitational World Championship from September 19 to 21. Twelve elite teams from eight regions will face off in a battle for global dominance.
Four teams will represent Garena regions:
- GS Gold-Silver (Taiwan)
- MG Moogrob Gang (Thailand)
- ISG I’M Special Gamer (MENA)
- LEG Legit Brazil (Brazil)
