Developer Wonder People has officially launched its revamped hero battle royale shooter, Super People, into Steam Early Access today. The update marks a new era for the title, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics, rebalanced classes, and stronger security systems designed to keep the battlefield fair.
Originally debuting as one of the most unique twists on the battle royale formula, Super People now takes its next big step forward. Early Access will serve as both a testing ground for stability and a showcase for brand-new features, paving the way toward a full launch later down the line.
New Ninja Class Expands Combat Options
The highlight of this release is the addition of the Ninja class, which brings a stealthy and aggressive playstyle to the roster. Specializing in melee combat, the Ninja wields katana-based burst skills, high-speed movement abilities, and assassination techniques that open up new strategies for close-quarters dominance.
Alongside this, existing classes have been rebalanced to intensify combat, giving players more tactical depth and variety when approaching firefights.
Stronger Anti-Cheat Measures
Cheating has long plagued competitive shooters, but Wonder People is taking a hard stance. The game now features a dual anti-cheat system, dedicated security staff, and even an in-game jury system to promote accountability. By reinforcing its anti-cheat strategy, the developer aims to deliver stable, fair matches from the very start of Early Access.
Ranked Matches Coming Soon
Competitive players can look forward to the launch of Ranked Matches on September 25, 2025. Each ranked lobby will feature up to 80 real players, with rank points, SP Coins, account experience, and tier-based bonus rewards up for grabs. Ranked progression is designed to keep players engaged while rewarding their skill and consistency.
Free for Returning Players, Rewards for New Ones
The Early Access version of Super People is free for returning players who have previously played the original release. New players can purchase the game, but the purchase price is refunded in the form of Diamonds, the in-game currency—an approach that prevents unlimited account creation and helps maintain a healthy ecosystem.
Building Toward the Future
Wonder People has promised regular content updates and plans to refine the game based on community feedback throughout Early Access.
“Our goal is to enhance the original version of Super People with new mechanics, continually improving the game by listening to user feedback, and fostering a fair playing environment,” said a Wonder People spokesperson. “We aim not only to strengthen gameplay but also to provide a reliable service experience for our players.”
Super People is available now via Steam Early Access, setting the stage for a new chapter in the hero battle royale genre.
