KOEI TECMO and Gust have officially released Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian, the latest entry in the beloved Atelier series, worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Fans can now embark on a cozy yet magical adventure alongside protagonists Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter as they rebuild their hometown of Hallfein and uncover its mysteries.
A brand-new launch trailer and celebratory artwork were also revealed today, giving fans a closer look at the game’s world, characters, and story.
A Magical Tale of Adventure and Restoration
The game follows Rias, a young alchemist, and Slade, who can open dimensional gateways, as they investigate the disappearance of Hallfein’s inhabitants. Along the way, players will meet both new allies and familiar faces from across the Atelier universe, including Sophie, Razeluxe, Totori, and Wilbell.
Set in the continent of Lantarna, Atelier Resleriana offers exploration of beautiful landscapes, ingredient gathering for its classic synthesis system, and the discovery of secrets hidden across dungeons known as Dimensional Paths—labyrinths that change structure with each visit.
Strategic Combat and Cozy Gameplay Features
Battles blend turn-based combat with strategic timeline mechanics, allowing players to chain turns, unleash powerful unite attacks, and craft useful items through Gift Color Synthesis. Outside of combat, players can also manage a shop, craft items for profit, and invest resources to restore Hallfein’s five districts, adding a community-building element to the story progression.
Post-Launch DLC Roadmap
KOEI TECMO also unveiled a roadmap of upcoming content:
- November 2025: Beginning of Summer Days costume pack with six themed outfits.
- December 2025: Additional Characters Pack, introducing Resna and Valeria from Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator.
- January 2026: The Essence of Alchemy recipe expansion and the high-difficulty dungeon Backwards-Ticking Clock Workshop.
Fans can choose from the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition of the game. Early purchasers within two weeks of launch will also receive the Activewear Adventuring Set for Rias and Slade, plus the Adventuring Charm Set.
