Garena is setting the global stage ablaze as it launches Flame Arena, a fiery new campaign running alongside the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025. Designed to capture the passion, rivalry, and spectacle of esports, Flame Arena invites players to experience the thrill of competition with exclusive themed missions, collectibles, and gameplay enhancements — all while celebrating Free Fire’s top professional teams.
Enter the Flame Arena: Two Worlds, One Fiery Stage
Launching on October 29, the Flame Arena campaign will light up the battlefield just as the FFWS Global Finals 2025 kick off in Jakarta, Indonesia, from October 31 to November 15. Eighteen of the world’s strongest Free Fire teams will compete for USD 1.15 million in prizes, across both Battle Royale and Clash Squad formats.
The update also introduces a revamped loadout system, overhauling the previous eight loadouts into four fresh, tactical options that deepen gameplay and allow players to craft new strategies in every match.
Battle Royale and Clash Squad Get a Fiery Makeover
During the campaign, Free Fire’s core modes will transform to reflect the Flame Arena theme:
- Battle Royale: Each squad will bear its own team banner from the moment they take off. These banners fade when a team is eliminated, while top-performing squads’ banners glow brightly across the sky. Even the safe zone turns into a circle of flame, pushing players to fight for survival in increasingly heated battles.
- Clash Squad: Spawn points will showcase team banners, while stores and in-game interfaces receive vibrant Flame Arena visuals.
This visual overhaul embodies the high-stakes energy of the FFWS and lets every player feel like part of the global competition.
Exclusive Collectibles and Limited-Time Rewards
From October 29 to November 16, players can claim a wealth of exclusive rewards and themed cosmetics through the Flame Arena event:
- Premium Bundles: Molten Fury (Male), Lava Fury (Female), and FFWS 2025 Bundles (Unisex and Male).
- Weapon and Item Rewards: The Fury Hyperbook — featuring an AC80 weapon skin, new emote, and Gloo Wall design.
- Free Unlockables: The Flame Edge Bundle (Female), Flame Arena-themed Gloo Wall, a Truck skin, and Team Jerseys and Avatars inspired by the 18 Global Finalists.

Build Your Legacy: Flame Arena Mission Event
In this limited-time event, players can create their own Player Card by completing missions and earning “value points.” As they climb the ranks, their cards evolve in color and prestige. Reaching the top tier unlocks the grand prize — the Flame Edge Bundle (Female). These custom Player Cards can also be used as battle cards in matches, adding a personal touch to each player’s legacy.
Real Pro Players Take the Spotlight
For the first time in Free Fire history, real esports athletes will appear on the game’s login screen, bringing the pros directly into players’ daily experience. Featured stars include:

Garena is also introducing two special community-driven events alongside the campaign:
- FFWS Fantasy Event: Players can collect virtual cards of professional players, assemble dream teams, and earn rewards based on their real-life tournament performance — including a Flame Arena Pickup Truck. Physical collectible cards featuring fan-favorite players will also be released during the Global Finals period.
- Esports Co-Creation Event: Fans can design artwork and trophies inspired by their favorite teams and FFWS moments. The community will vote for the winning design, which will be immortalized as an in-game Gloo Wall during the 2026 Esports World Cup: Free Fire.
FFWS Global Finals 2025: The Road to Glory
The FFWS Global Finals 2025 will feature the world’s best Free Fire teams battling it out in two stages:
Knockout Stage (October 31 – November 9)
- Battle Royale: October 31 – November 2 and November 7 – 9
- Clash Squad: November 5 – 6
Grand Finals (November 14 – 15)
- Clash Squad: November 14 – USD 150,000 prize pool
- Battle Royale: November 15 – USD 1 million prize pool
The Battle Royale Grand Final will adopt the Champion Rush format, where victory can be claimed by achieving a Booyah! after reaching 80 points or by holding the highest score after eight matches.
