Yogscast Games Expands Its Roguelite Empire with Infinity Sweeper and The Gate Must Stand, Launching in 2026

Yogscast Games

Yogscast Games is doubling down on its love for roguelites with the signing of two exciting upcoming titles: Infinity Sweeper from Longshot Studio and The Gate Must Stand from Gamersky. Both games are slated for release in the first half of 2026, further cementing Yogscast Games’ position as the unofficial home of roguelites.

The publisher, known for indie hits like PlateUp! and Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, continues its mission to empower solo and micro studios. Through these new partnerships, Yogscast Games will provide full-scale marketing and publishing support throughout each title’s lifecycle.

“People say there are too many rogue games. We say, you can never have enough,” said Simon Byron, Managing Director at Yogscast Games. “From the retro-futuristic vibe of Infinity Sweeper to battling apocalyptic bosses in The Gate Must Stand, both games deliver thrilling, tension-filled moments players will love.”

Infinity Sweeper: A Retro-Futuristic Twist on Minesweeping

Infinity Sweeper reimagines the classic minesweeping experience as a fast-paced roguelite brain-teaser. Each run challenges players to clear grids without triggering traps—mixing strategy, patience, and high-stakes decision-making.

One moment, the game offers calm, logical deduction; the next, it throws players into frantic boss battles where every click counts. With its sleek retro-futuristic aesthetic and unpredictable mechanics, Infinity Sweeper promises to be both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

“We wanted to create a game that brings back memories of yesteryear but with a fresh, indie twist,” said Vidra, Founder of Longshot Studio. “Partnering with Yogscast Games feels like the perfect match. Their passion and expertise will help us bring Infinity Sweeper to a wider audience.”

Players eager to try it can dive into the playable demo now available on Steam, giving fans an early taste of what’s to come.

The Gate Must Stand: Dark Fantasy Meets Tower Defense

From the creators at Gamersky, The Gate Must Stand merges roguelike progression with strategic tower defense gameplay. Players take on the role of powerful heroes defending the city of Belrak against demonic invaders.

Each run challenges players to deploy followers, activate relics, and fight alongside allies to repel wave after wave of monsters. Failures only make future attempts stronger, as new heroes and relics unlock with every defeat.

“This marks our third co-publishing project with Yogscast Games,” said Brandon Zhang, CEO of Gamersky. “Their passion for roguelikes and understanding of the community are unmatched. With The Gate Must Stand, we’re redefining tower defense to keep players at the center of the battle.”

Yogscast Games: The Indie Publisher for Roguelite Fans

Since its founding in 2017, Yogscast Games has made a name for itself by supporting indie developers and producing “games that are as fun to watch as they are to play.” With major hits like PlateUp! (over two million copies sold) and Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers (over $1 million in its first month), the company continues to prove its knack for discovering hidden gems.

Byron adds, “Working with passionate creators like Longshot Studio and Gamersky perfectly fits our vision—helping small teams achieve big things.”
