Kuro Games has revealed a stunning new Wuthering Waves PlayStation 5 Deluxe Collection, announced during a dedicated broadcast this week. Alongside the physical collector’s edition, the studio also showcased the highly anticipated Version 2.8 update, bringing new story chapters, Resonators, locations, and sweeping gameplay improvements to the hit action RPG.
The Deluxe Collection marks the game’s first full physical set for PlayStation 5, designed with collectors in mind. It features a premium metal display with vibrant Wuthering Waves artwork, acrylic standees of the two protagonists, decorative acrylic paper, a collectible postcard, and redemption codes for exclusive in-game items. Step Into Chronorift Metropolis: A New Era Begins in Version 2.8
Version 2.8, titled “To the City Set in Amber,” expands the world of Wuthering Waves with the massive new area Chronorift Metropolis, fresh quests, and new playable Resonators—Chisa and Buling.
Meet New Resonators
• Chisa – A calm, analytical Startorch Academy student who approaches challenges with precision and intellect.
• Buling – Known as the Spiritchaser Taoist, she traverses the world investigating supernatural enigmas using her mastery of divination.
• The update also introduces Kumokiri, Chisa’s signature weapon.
New Story Chapters and Content Expansion
Version 2.8 pushes the narrative forward with two new main quests:
• Chapter II Act XII: Stagnant Dawn on Wastelands
• Chapter II Segue: Flowing Starlight in the Iris
