Digital Extremes has officially confirmed that The Old Peace, Warframe’s next major narrative chapter, will launch December 10 as a free update on all platforms. Revealed during the final Devstream of 2025, the update promises one of the most ambitious content drops in years — featuring a new game mode, expanded Focus School Ultimate abilities, the introduction of the 63rd Warframe Uriel, new enemies, and a full suite of new weapons and cosmetics.
Players were also treated to fresh details on TennoCon 2026, the ongoing Android closed beta, and Warframe’s upcoming appearance at The Game Awards 2025.
Journey to the Tau Moon With The Perita Rebellion
At the center of The Old Peace is The Perita Rebellion, a brand-new game mode set on a distant Tau Moon. Built from the ground up, this mission type lets players relive a key moment from a pivotal galactic conflict.
Key Features of The Perita Rebellion
- 12-minute battlefield encounters with rotating challenges and temporary upgrades
- Choose one of the five Focus Schools before starting the mission
- Charge up devastating Tauron Strikes, Warframe’s new Ultimate abilities
- Face one of three brutal bosses for exclusive rewards
- Fight the Anarchs, a faction made of Dax, Grineer, and corrupted Prime Warframes acting as mini-bosses
This mode brings a fresh layer of intensity and narrative weight, giving Tenno a closer look at the conflict that shaped the Old War.
Tauron Strikes: Massive New Ultimate Abilities for All Focus Schools

These join previously revealed Tauron Strikes Vexoric (Naramon) and Cogron (Unairu), offering Tenno unprecedented power and flashy new combat options.
Uriel: The 63rd Warframe Joins the Arsenal

- Specializes in aggressive, relentless offense
- Excels in large-scale engagements
Players can unlock Uriel for free by collecting blueprints and materials through The Descendia, or they can purchase instant access via the in-game Marketplace.
