Indie studio Fabraz, best known for Demon Turf and the upcoming Bubsy 4D, has officially revealed the release date for its highly anticipated 3D platformer Demon Tides. Announced during today’s Day of the Devs showcase, the vibrant open-world adventure will launch on PC on February 19, 2026.
Alongside the PC release, Fabraz also confirmed that Demon Tides is coming to Nintendo Switch, with a release date to be announced. Fans of physical editions can also look forward to a boxed release combining Demon Tides and Demon Turf, produced in partnership with Fangamer.
A New Chapter in Fabraz’s Platforming Legacy
Following the cult success of Demon Turf—praised by creators like Nitro Rad as a standout indie platformer—Demon Tides expands on the studio’s signature style with a bigger world, faster movement, and deeper player expression.
The game blends high-speed traversal, shapeshifting mechanics, and combo-driven movement into a seamless open-ocean playground that rewards creativity and mastery.
Explore a Dazzling Open World of Seas and Secrets
In Demon Tides, players race across vast oceans and explore towering structures scattered throughout a mysterious kingdom. Every island, ruin, and vertical challenge is packed with secrets waiting to be uncovered.
Using an expressive and highly customizable move-set, players can chain abilities together to soar, swing, and surf across the environment at blistering speeds. Exploration is fully open-ended, encouraging curiosity and experimentation at every turn.
Customize Your Movement and Your Style
Progression in Demon Tides is driven by discovery. Players can complete challenges or uncover hidden chests to collect talismans that modify and expand their abilities. These upgrades allow players to tailor their movement style, unlocking new traversal options and creative solutions to platforming challenges.
Customization goes beyond mechanics. Demon Tides features a wide range of outfits, headgear, and hair dyes, letting players fully personalize Beebz’s look as they conquer the kingdom.
Social Features Add a Competitive Edge
Demon Tides doesn’t stop at solo exploration. Players can challenge ghost data from other players to compete for speedrunning times, pushing mastery of the game’s movement systems.
The game also introduces a creative social layer through graffiti tagging. Players can leave messages on walls that appear in other players’ worlds, adding a shared sense of discovery and personality across the community.
