Quest Master Locks in Q2 2026 Release — Bow & Arrow Update Brings Holiday Cheer

Quest Master

Apogee Entertainment closed out the year with exciting news for fans of its creative dungeon-building adventure. Quest Master — the action-adventure dungeon maker that blends classic crawler vibes with modern community tools — is officially targeting a Q2 2026 full 1.0 launch. And before that milestone arrives, players are already getting new toys, new decorations, and new reasons to dive back in.

The latest surprise update adds a fan-favorite weapon, festive winter flair, and fresh mechanics that deepen both dungeon-creating and dungeon-crawling alike.

A Dungeon Maker Built for Adventure and Creativity

Set in the lush world of Aetheria, Quest Master invites players to delve beneath the kingdom to fight the dark forces corrupting the Great Barrier. Alongside lively NPCs and story-driven quests, adventurers travel through distinct biomes, uncovering secrets while learning how to design dungeons of their own.

Quest Master is both a love letter to legendary dungeon crawlers and a powerful sandbox where players can build, share, and challenge others with fully custom creations.

The Most-Requested Weapon Arrives: Bow & Arrow

The star of the update is the Bow & Arrow, the final major tool arriving before 1.0. Long requested by the community, the weapon evolves as players progress — starting as a modest Wooden Bow and eventually unlocking the devastating Recurve Bow, capable of firing a spread of three arrows at once.

The update also introduces Bomb Arrows for explosive crowd control and a new dungeon mechanic, the Eye Switch, which can only be activated by arrows. Together, these additions expand combat strategy and puzzle-design possibilities for creators.

Castle Town Gets Festive for the Holidays

Apogee has also refreshed Castle Town with a seasonal makeover. Expect lights, snow, and holiday-themed touches throughout the bustling hub area — a cheerful celebration and a thank-you to one of Apogee’s most dedicated communities.

That community continues to grow, recently surpassing 5,500 player-created dungeons — a testament to just how powerful and welcoming Quest Master’s tools have become.
