Myth Avenue Gaming and Fancy United Claim the 2026 Predator Shield at APAC Predator League Finals

Predator League

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 has come to a thrilling close, with Myth Avenue Gaming and Fancy United emerging as champions and securing the prestigious 2026 Predator Shield. Held in New Delhi, India, the LAN finals brought together the best VALORANT and Dota 2 teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, delivering high-stakes competition, breakout performances, and unforgettable moments.

From 24 teams representing 14 APAC territories, only two stood tall at the end—cementing their status as regional powerhouses in competitive esports.

Fancy United Shocks the Crowd to Win VALORANT Predator Shield

The biggest surprise of the tournament came on Day 1, when rising Vietnamese squad Fancy United defeated crowd-favorite BOOM Esports to capture the VALORANT Predator Shield and USD 65,000 in prize money.

Leading the charge was young star Hoàng “Twilight” Minh Dũng, who delivered a jaw-dropping performance with 40 total kills across the series. Twilight’s dominance and composure on the big stage earned him the Tournament MVP award, along with an additional USD 10,000 prize.

Fancy United’s victory marks a major milestone for Vietnamese esports, signaling the team’s arrival as a serious contender on the international stage.

Myth Avenue Gaming Defends the Predator Shield in Dota 2

In Dota 2, reigning champions Myth Avenue Gaming successfully defended their title against Indonesia’s in-form REKONIX, once again lifting the 2026 Predator Shield and taking home USD 65,000.

The grand finals went the full distance, with both teams trading blows in a tense best-of-three series. The deciding Game 3, a grueling 41-minute showdown, showcased Myth Avenue Gaming’s superior coordination and late-game execution.

Offlaner “egxrdemxn” was the standout performer, leading his team to victory with a combined 44 kills in the final game. His impact earned him the Dota 2 MVP award and USD 10,000 in prize money.

Philippine Teams Show Resilience and Competitive Fire

The Philippines made its presence felt throughout the APAC Predator League, with multiple teams displaying grit and determination on the international stage.

Xipto Esports Reaches VALORANT Semifinals

In VALORANT, Xipto Esports, led by former Team Secret veteran Emmanuel “Emman” Morales, carried the Philippine banner to a Top 4 finish. Xipto topped a challenging Group C, outperforming local rivals Oasis Gaming, the reigning APAC Predator League Philippine Champions.

Xipto’s tournament run ended in the semifinals against BOOM Esports, a roster featuring international star and former VCT Masters winner Nikita “d3ffo” Sudakov. Despite the loss, Xipto Esports showcased significant potential and emerged as one of the tournament’s most promising teams.

InterActive Philippines Impresses in Dota 2

In Dota 2, InterActive Philippines (IAP) exceeded expectations despite being a late tournament call-up. Their run was halted by Indonesia’s REKONIX, who denied IAP a spot in the grand finals.

The deciding Game 3 proved costly for IAP after a risky Slardar and Anti-Mage draft failed to gain traction, allowing REKONIX to secure the series and advance.

APAC Predator League 2027 Headed to Vietnam

At the conclusion of the event, organizers officially announced that the APAC Predator League 2027 will be held in Vietnam, setting the stage for another year of elite competition in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing esports markets.
