Erenshor v0.3 “Rising Shadows” Update Brings Guilds, Reaver Class, Reliquary Hub, and Major QoL Upgrades

Indie RPG fans have reason to celebrate as Erenshor, the single-player simulated MMORPG from Burgee Media, prepares to launch its highly anticipated v0.3 “Rising Shadows” update on February 2, 2026. This substantial update introduces guilds, a new playable class called the Reaver, a customizable player hub called the Reliquary, and a host of quality-of-life improvements, reinforcing Erenshor’s unique MMO-inspired experience without requiring online play.

Guilds: Build Your Own Community in a Single-Player MMO

The v0.3 update allows players to create and join guilds, adding a new layer of identity, progression, and camaraderie within the simulated MMORPG world. Guild systems expand Erenshor’s MMO-style mechanics, letting players experience social structures familiar to traditional MMOs—without the need for a live multiplayer server.

Meet the Reaver: A New Versatile Playable Class

The Reaver is a powerful melee class that introduces a stance system, enabling players to switch between tank, DPS, and utility roles. This void-powered knight thrives by taking damage and using spells that trade its own HP for Mana. New mechanics include fear-based spells, mutual-damage abilities, and HP-for-Mana exchanges, providing strategic depth for solo adventurers and simulated party encounters alike.

The Reliquary: Your Personal Hub for Exploration and Progression

One of the most significant additions in v0.3 is the Reliquary, a customizable player-controlled hub where you can decorate, store items, and manage long-term progression. The Reliquary functions as a base of operations, offering:

  • Portal Runes: Store and use teleportation points to explore seamlessly.
  • Account-Wide Benefits: Unlock once and use across all alt characters.
  • Shops and Auction Houses: Host your own player-driven economy.
  • Guild and Friend Summons: Instantly gather parties for dungeon runs.

With statues, shrines, and buffs earned through crafting and quests, the Reliquary creates personalization goals that reward players over time, making exploration and collection even more meaningful.

Enhanced SimPlayer Interaction

SimPlayers, Erenshor’s AI-driven stand-ins for MMO players, now feature expanded dialogue and interaction options. Players can ask for:

  • Item and NPC locations
  • Gameplay tutorials and guidance

These updates make the world feel alive and responsive, helping both newcomers and returning players navigate Erenshor’s deep systems.

Game Masters and Rule Enforcement

For the first time, Game Masters (GMs) will exist within Erenshor, monitoring player behavior and enforcing in-game rules. Ignoring GM instructions could have consequences, such as jail time, further deepening the immersive simulated MMO experience.

Quality-of-Life Improvements Across the Board

Alongside these major features, the Rising Shadows update delivers numerous QoL upgrades, improving usability, interface clarity, and gameplay flow. This update is designed to refine the game experience and prepare the ground for future raid content.
