Released by The Pokémon Company International, the latest expansion is now available at participating retailers and digitally via Pokémon TCG Live, bringing with it fresh Mega Evolution Pokémon, new card rarities, and content inspired by Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

A New Era of Mega Evolution in the Pokémon TCG
Drawing inspiration from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes expands the Pokémon TCG with new characters, locations, and Trainer-focused cards. Players can discover new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, including the highly anticipated Mega Dragonite ex, alongside returning Mega Evolution Pokémon ex that appear with reimagined illustrations.
Trainer’s Pokémon also return in this expansion, strengthening the bond between Trainers and their Pokémon in both gameplay and design—an element longtime fans will immediately recognize and appreciate.
Introducing the Mega Attack Rare Card Rarity
One of the biggest highlights of Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes is the debut of an all-new card rarity: Mega attack rare.

Play Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Digitally on Pokémon TCG Live
In addition to physical releases, Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes is now fully playable on Pokémon TCG Live across iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices.
Players who log in can access the Ascended Heroes Battle Pass, which rewards two ready-to-play decks featuring Mega Dragonite ex and Mega Meganium ex. The Battle Pass is available to unlock until 9:00 a.m. PDT on March 26, 2026.
