Morphosis Season Brings New Operator, Maps, and Modes
The Morphosis season introduces multiple gameplay expansions that redefine how players engage in large-scale combat, tactical support, and narrative-driven Operations.
New Support Operator: Lina “Vlinder” Van der Meer
Joining the operator roster is Lina Van der Meer, codenamed Vlinder—Dutch for “Butterfly.” As a dedicated support operator, Lina specializes in advanced battlefield healing.
Her standout gadget is a swarm of butterfly drones that automatically seek out injured teammates across a wide area, delivering rapid healing even in chaotic combat scenarios. Vlinder is built to keep squads alive during intense firefights, making her a valuable addition to coordinated teams.
New Warfare Map: Aftershock Introduces Full-Scale Destruction
Morphosis adds Aftershock, a brand-new Warfare map set in a North African city devastated by constant earthquakes. At the center of the chaos is a geological research facility operated by Haavk, whose experiments have destabilized the entire region.
Aftershock marks the first map in Garena Delta Force to feature full-scene destruction, allowing buildings and environments to collapse dynamically during battle. The map will be available in King of the Hill and Attack and Defend, delivering urban warfare with unprecedented intensity and environmental chaos.
New Gameplay Mode: Flashpoint Keeps Battles Constantly Moving
The new Flashpoint mode puts a fast-paced twist on objective-based combat. Instead of multiple objectives, only one capture point is active at any given time.
Every minute, the objective teleports to a new location on the map, forcing teams to stay mobile, adapt quickly, and fight for control before the timer resets. Victory comes from capturing objectives efficiently and racking up points before the battlefield shifts again.
Expanded Operations Experience: The Fiery Owl Hunt
Morphosis also expands the game’s Operations mode with a full narrative-driven experience called The Fiery Owl Hunt.
Players can step into the role of franchise boss Saeed or one of his elite guards, tackling exclusive missions that explore his backstory in greater depth. This new Operations experience features structured quest progression and allows players to fight alongside real players while taking on enemy forces from a fresh perspective.
New Boss Arrives in Space City: Alonso Hudson
The Space City map is receiving major updates in the Morphosis season, including new areas and a powerful new enemy.
Players will face Alonso Hudson, the Efficiency Director, a new boss who plays a central role in the season’s unfolding narrative. The update adds new challenges for squads looking to test their coordination and combat skills against high-level threats.
Gameplay Improvements and System Upgrades
Beyond new content, the Morphosis season update also delivers important quality-of-life improvements, including:
