The global MOBA powerhouse Honor of Kings has launched its massive Flow Update, delivering a wave of new gameplay mechanics, heroes, and community-driven features. Announced by publisher Level Infinite and developer TiMi Studio Group, the update introduces exciting additions to the battlefield while also expanding the game’s reach with an official launch in India.
The update energizes the game’s competitive arena, known as The Gorge, with new heroes, enhanced customization, and special events designed to reward both new and veteran players.
Honor of Kings Officially Launches in India
One of the biggest announcements tied to the Honor of Kings Flow Update is the game’s official rollout across India, bringing the world’s most-played MOBA to millions of new players.
The expansion marks a major milestone for the mobile esports ecosystem in the region. To celebrate the launch, the developers confirmed that a new hero inspired by Indian culture will be introduced in a future update, highlighting the game’s continued focus on regional representation.
With a global player base already in the hundreds of millions, the India launch significantly expands the game’s reach across Asia’s fast-growing mobile gaming market.
Meet Yango: The New Hero Entering The Gorge
The Flow Update introduces Yango, the newest playable hero joining the ever-growing Honor of Kings roster.
Players can unlock Yango through in-game purchases using token vouchers or star stones. During the first week after release, the hero is available at a discounted price.
The addition of Yango provides new strategic possibilities in team compositions and expands the already diverse hero pool that defines the game’s competitive meta.
Super Flow Day Perks Bring Limited-Time Rewards
Starting March 14, players can participate in the Super Flow Day Perks event, which offers a wide range of limited-time rewards and bonuses.
Key highlights include:
- Free limited-time tokens available through event participation
- Guaranteed rewards of at least 888 tokens

Players who participate early can begin collecting tokens before the redemption phase begins, allowing them to maximize their rewards during the event window.
Super Flow Spriteling Adds New Tactical Skills
Another standout feature of the Honor of Kings Flow Update is the introduction of the Super Flow Spriteling, which grants players access to one of three unique abilities.
These skills add new tactical options during matches:
Runsie
Knocks back nearby enemies and boosts movement speed, though it slightly reduces damage output.
Bigly
Increases player size and maximum health but decreases movement speed.
Coolio
Reduces skill cooldowns up to three times, at the cost of sacrificing some current health.
These abilities introduce dynamic decision-making during battles and can dramatically alter the pace of engagements in the game’s signature MOBA gameplay.
Hero Balance Changes Improve Gameplay
Several heroes have also received balance updates as part of the Flow Update.
Nezha
Nezha now has improved map awareness, allowing players to gain full-map vision and support allies quickly across the battlefield.
Luara
Luara’s first skill range has been extended to match her basic attack range, while her ultimate ability now deals increased damage.
Fatih
Fatih’s attack speed has been adjusted, and his ultimate now grants additional attack power. Enhanced basic attacks can also restore health, improving his survivability during fights.
Animation improvements have also been made to make his slash attacks feel smoother and more responsive.
Customization and Quality-of-Life Improvements
The update introduces several quality-of-life upgrades designed to improve the overall player experience.
Play While Downloading Improvements
The Play as You Download system now features an enhanced progress tracking page, giving players clearer information about download status. The game’s storage requirements have also been optimized, reducing the amount of mandatory content players must install.
Optional assets will now download automatically when sufficient device storage is available.
New Lobby Music Customization
Players can also personalize their experience with 10 new lobby background music tracks, many inspired by esports themes and regional soundtracks.
Additional download and loading customization options have been added, allowing players to express their style while waiting for matches.
Community Creativity: Super Flow Brawl Gameplay Challenge
Starting March 15, the developers are inviting players to participate in a creative gameplay event called the Super Flow Brawl Challenge.
Players can submit ideas for new hero skills, including:
- Passive abilities
- Skill upgrades
- Unique gameplay mechanics
The top 10 ideas will be selected and opened for community voting. The winning concept will eventually be implemented in a future update, giving players a chance to influence the game’s development.
Festival of Lanterns Event Continues With Treasure Hunt
The Flow Update also coincides with the ongoing Festival of Lanterns Treasure Hunt, which runs until March 21, 2026.
During the event, players can:
- Complete daily in-game missions
- Collect Treasure Codes through livestreams and videos
- Unlock Special Lantern rewards
Once event progress reaches 95 percent, Honor of Kings will reveal details about a major offline finale event taking place at Eastwood Outdoor Garden – Central Plaza on March 21 from 4 PM to 10 PM.
Fans can attend the event for free and watch influencers complete festival missions live.
HoK Benefits Launches Million Benefits Share Event
Alongside the update, HoK Benefits is launching its Million Benefits Share event beginning March 13.
Players can collaborate to unlock a nationwide reward pool worth up to 10 million Benefits Coin Fragments, which can later be converted into real-world prizes.
The updated G113 prize pool also includes high-profile rewards such as:
- iPhone 17 Pro

These incentives add another layer of engagement for players actively participating in the new season.
Honor of Kings Continues to Dominate the MOBA Scene
Developed by TiMi Studio Group, Honor of Kings remains the most-played MOBA in the world, with its combined titles surpassing 260 million monthly active users in 2025.
The game’s immersive universe is further elevated by music from renowned composers such as Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, and Howard Shore.
