A major new update has arrived for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, and it’s packed with fresh content for anime MMORPG fans. The latest patch introduces a brand-new map called Starland and launches a limited-time crossover event with the hit anime Shangri-La Frontier.
With even more collaborations already confirmed for later this year, the game continues to expand its world while appealing to anime fans across multiple platforms.
New Starland Map Brings a Festival-Themed Adventure
The newest update to Blue Protocol: Star Resonance introduces Starland, a vibrant new island designed around carnival-style fun and seasonal festivities.
Instead of focusing purely on combat, Starland delivers a lighter and more playful experience where players can explore themed environments, enjoy limited-time activities, and discover special in-game items tied to the update. The map adds a fresh atmosphere to the world of Regnus while giving both new and returning players more reasons to log in this March 2026.
Shangri-La Frontier Collaboration Event Is Live Now
Alongside the new map, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has officially launched a crossover event with Shangri-La Frontier.
The collaboration introduces themed cosmetic items and content inspired by popular characters from the anime, including:
- Sunraku
- Emul
- Psyger-0
Players can unlock collaboration outfits, weapons, furniture for their in-game homes, and themed menu items tied to the event. A new key visual featuring Sunraku, Emul, and the player character has also been released on official social media channels.
Collaboration Period:
- Start Date: March 19, 2026
- End Date: April 22, 2026
This gives players just over a month to collect the limited-time rewards before the event ends.
Fairy Tail Collaboration Confirmed for May 2026
The developers have also confirmed another major anime crossover for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
A collaboration with the legendary anime Fairy Tail is scheduled to begin in May 2026. Characters from the Wizard Guild Fairy Tail—including fan-favorite heroes Natsu and Lucy—will appear in the game as part of the crossover event.
More details about the event are expected to be revealed through official channels in the coming weeks.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Continues Expanding in 2026
With a brand-new map, a live anime collaboration, and another crossover already confirmed, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is clearly doubling down on content updates in 2026.
The combination of new areas, themed events, and anime collaborations shows that the game is aiming to build a long-term community by blending MMORPG gameplay with fan-favorite anime franchises.
If you’re a fan of anime MMORPGs, this latest update might be the perfect time to jump in.
