The crossover expands beyond characters with the arrival of a brand-new room: The Hourglass of Dreams. Inspired by Ravenswatch’s unsettling aesthetic, this location introduces players to the Sandman, a key non-playable character from Ravenswatch.
In this room, players can upgrade the rarity of their Gambits, powerful modifiers that enhance spells with new effects and increased potency. The Hourglass of Dreams is also the exclusive source of Vengeful Echoes—a stronger, more dangerous variant of Echoes.
To claim one, players must sacrifice an Echo they already possess, creating meaningful risk-versus-reward decisions that deepen Astral Ascent’s roguelite progression.
