MANILA – Blacklist International and BOOM Esports are heading to Riyadh as they dispatched ACT Esports Club and Rough World Kadiliman, 3-0 and 3-1, in the opening day of the Philippine King’s League Spring 2025 Playoffs at the One Ayala Concourse Level 2.

BOOM Esports, who saw comfort picks in Game One saw a meltdown during a teamfight that saw a shutdown on jungler Karl “KARLLL” Bautista which eventually led to a wipepout, giving Rough World a chance to march down mid to take the opener.

Learning from their blunder, BOOM Esports managed to regroup and then retaliate by taking three consecutive games in a row to end the series and secure their return ticket to Riyadh, having gone to last year’s Esports World Cup.

On the other bracket, Blacklist International continued their dominance with a 3-0 sweep of ACT Esports Club. Though ACT managed to fight back Blacklist’s aggression, the team’s map awareness and hero pool helped them to a swift victory to secure their slot in the King’s World Cup.

The Playoffs of the Philippines King’s League continue today with the Upper Bracket finals for the first grand finals slot while the lower bracket semis will see one team bid their Riyadh hopes goodbye.
