NEXON’s anime RPG Blue Archive has taken a bold step into the eerie and the unexplained with its latest content drop, “We Are the Occult Investigation Society! Ancient Spells and Mysteries.”
Now live on Android, iOS, and Steam, the update introduces two new three-star students, a fully voiced event story, and a limited-time recruitment campaign centered on the enigmatic Wild Hunt Academy of Arts.

Limited-Time Student Recruitment Now Live
As part of the update, Blue Archive launched a special rate-up recruitment event on January 13, 2026, giving players a higher chance to recruit two new three-star characters:
Eri (3★) – President of the Occult Investigation Society
- Leader of the Wild Hunt Academy of Arts’ Occult Investigation Society
- Deals percentage-based damage to a single target based on her ATK
- Her EX Skill becomes even more devastating when she accumulates two Magic Power stacks
Eri is designed as a powerful single-target damage dealer, rewarding strategic skill timing and team synergy.
Kanoe (3★) – Occult Society Member
- Specializes in sustain and support
- Continuously heals allies over time
- Can remove one debuff from teammates, making her valuable in tougher encounters
Kanoe shines in long battles where survivability and status control are critical.
The recruitment event runs until January 26, 2026 at 5:59 PM PT (January 27 at 1:59 AM UTC), giving players a limited window to secure both characters.
