In Blue Archive, players step into the role of Sensei, an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E. (SCHALE) in the academy-filled metropolis of Kivotos. Through a blend of RPG strategy, real-time tactical combat, and character-driven storytelling, Senseis resolve the endless incidents threatening the city—while building bonds with a cast of memorable anime-style students.
The Summer Sky’s Promise update expands this world with new narrative moments and seasonal content designed to reward both longtime players and newcomers.
Summer Sky’s Promise Story Event Arrives
At the heart of the update is the new Summer Sky’s Promise event story. This chapter follows members of Trinity General School’s Tea Party and Justice Task Force as they enjoy a rare summer vacation.
Key characters including Nagisa, Mika, and Seia take center stage in a story that blends lighthearted summer fun with Blue Archive’s signature emotional storytelling. Players who complete the event can also obtain Ichika (Swimsuit), a 1★ student, for free.
Swimsuit Student Recruitment Event
The Student Recruitment Event is now underway, offering increased chances to recruit the new summer variants:
- Seia (Swimsuit) – Boosts the EX Skill damage of one ally other than herself
- Hasumi (Swimsuit) – Deals damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area based on a percentage of her ATK
This limited-time recruitment runs until December 22, 2025 at 5:59 PM PT / December 23 at 1:59 AM UTC, giving players a short window to add these seasonal students to their roster.
Fest Recruitment Doubles 3★ Rates
Starting December 23, 2025, Blue Archive launches its highly anticipated Fest Recruitment Event, where the chance of acquiring a 3★ student is doubled.
During the event, players can also use Recruitment Points to selectively acquire Pick-Up students. The Fest Recruitment concludes on December 29, 2025 at 5:59 PM PT / December 30 at 1:59 AM UTC.
Featured 3★ students include:
- Nagisa (Swimsuit) – Increases an ally’s Critical Damage and grants Cost Overload
- Mika (Swimsuit) – Activates the multi-state skill Unforgettable Memory, cycling through different effects
- Hina (Dress) – Returns with the skill Performance Opener, progressing through a full musical sequence of attacks
Blue Archive Celebrates Its 4th Anniversary
Alongside the in-game update, Blue Archive recently marked its 4th Anniversary with the “4th Anniversary Assembly: Full Steam Four-Ward” event held in Los Angeles.
As the first in-person event dedicated exclusively to Blue Archive players, the celebration featured:
