Publisher Serenity Forge (known for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!) and developer Deer Dream Studios have announced that their psychological horror dating sim, Cooking Companions, will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on April 29, 2025. This console debut is accompanied by a PlayStation 5 Premium Physical Edition.
A Deliciously Dark Tale
Cooking Companions combines cute visuals with a dark narrative, following a group of friends trapped in a cabin deep in the Tatras Mountains. As starvation sets in, strange events unfold, and players must face unsavory challenges. Explore the cabin, build relationships, and carve your own path in this multi-ending visual novel.
Cult Hit on YouTube and Twitch
Originally released on Steam, Cooking Companions has become a cult hit on YouTube and Twitch. The upcoming console release introduces 15 fully animated cutscenes, new secrets, and localization in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. The PC version will also receive these updates for free on April 29, 2025.
Premium Physical Edition
The Cooking Companions Premium Physical Edition is available for pre-order from the Serenity Forge Store and other retailers. This edition includes:
