History was made in Da Nang as CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) stormed to victory at the inaugural League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) 2025 Grand Final, sweeping Team Secret Whales (TSW) 3-0 to claim the first-ever LCP title. The win not only cements CFO’s dominance in the region but also sets the stage for their run at Worlds 2025.

The Grand Final, held on September 21 at the Tien Son Sport Center, saw CFO rise above their rivals with an emphatic performance. Star player HongQ was named Finals MVP after his stellar showing throughout the series, guiding his team to a flawless finish.

“I’m really glad we were able to win 3-0 and become champions. All my teammates played very well, and the energy from the crowd made the atmosphere so lively,” said HongQ following the win.

A Weekend of Esports Spectacle in Da Nang

From September 20 to 21, fans gathered for the LCP Finals Weekend, which brought together CFO, PSG Talon, and Team Secret Whales for the climactic showdown of the inaugural season. Backed by partners such as Mastercard, Sony Vietnam, Suntory Pepsico, and Taiwan Tourism, the event delivered more than just competition—fans enjoyed showmatches, gaming booths, exclusive merchandise, and interactive experiences that transformed Da Nang into a festival for esports enthusiasts.

With the conclusion of LCP 2025, all eyes now turn toward the League of Legends World Championship. CFO, along with PSG Talon and Team Secret Whales, will represent the Pacific region against the world’s best teams later this year.
