Indie team XA Studio is thrilled to announce that Dino Topia is participating in this week’s Steam Next Fest, ahead of its Early Access launch planned for Q3 this year. This sandbox roguelike takes players on a journey back to a prehistoric world, blending creature collecting with base-building and farming.
In Dino Topia, players will explore perilous ancient lands, from dense jungles to arid deserts, alongside their loyal dinosaur companions. Together, they will fight, farm, and forage to create a utopia for themselves and their dinosaurs. The game combines strategy, RPG, and adventure elements, offering plenty of environments to explore, secrets to uncover, and a variety of creatures to collect, each with unique abilities and appearances.
Players can also battle bosses and upgrade their home base, adding layers of depth to the gameplay. The game director at XA Studio shared, “Our inspiration comes from our childhood fascination with dinosaurs, which has carried into our adult lives as game developers. This influence has given us the perfect backdrop to create Dino Topia.”
