This follow-up to A Bavarian Tale invites players to unravel a gripping new mystery in the fictional coastal town of Havstedt. A New Mystery Unfolds
In Inspector Schmidt – The Ebbing, young officer Valentin Schmidt, hoping for a quiet vacation by the North Sea, is drawn into the murder case of Bente Hansen. Players step into the shoes of a true detective, questioning locals and sneaking around to uncover clues. The revamped stealth system and a variety of challenging puzzles keep gameplay fresh and engaging.
Rich Historical Setting
Set in 1870, a time of major social and technological upheaval, the game features dynamic dialogue, quirky characters, and branching storylines with multiple endings. To ensure authenticity, Active Fungus Studios uses local voice talent, with characters speaking in northern German dialects. Subtitles and an English voiceover are also available.
