World of Wonder, in collaboration with The Op Games, has launched “CLUE®: RuPaul’s Drag Race,” a glamorous twist on the classic whodunit, now available for those ready to sashay their way through a glittering investigation.
This isn’t your grandmother’s CLUE. Forget Colonel Mustard and Professor Plum; this edition introduces a dazzling cast of new characters, including Madam Mustard, Pepper La Peacock, Crystal White, Sir Lady Scarlet, Marsha P. Plum, and Geraldine Green. These queens are ready to spill the tea, but only if you can ask the right questions.
The scene of the crime? Iconic locations from the Emmy Award-winning reality competition, including the main stage, the untucked lounge, and the ladies’ room. Players must navigate these familiar locales, gathering clues and interviewing the queens to determine WHO took the crown, WHERE it was found, and WHAT item helped them escape.
The traditional weapons are also given a fabulous makeover. Instead of candlesticks and lead pipes, players will investigate with on-theme Item Tokens, such as a Wig, Corset, Platform Heels, Tucking Tape, Makeup Case, and Drag Fan. Each item adds a layer of theatrical flair to the investigation, making every deduction a moment of high drama.
Designed for two to six players, ages 14 and up, “CLUE®: RuPaul’s Drag Race” promises an evening of strategic sleuthing and campy fun. This collaboration follows the successful launch of “Monopoly: RuPaul’s Drag Race” at RuPaul’s DragCon LA in 2023, solidifying the partnership between World of Wonder and The Op Games.
