NetEase Games has officially announced the Dunk City Dynasty Global Championship 2025 (DCDG), an international esports tournament for its NBA and NBPA licensed 3v3 streetball mobile game, Dunk City Dynasty. Players from around the world will clash across three competitive stages, all leading up to the offline finals in Shanghai, China this November, where a $100,000 prize pool awaits.
Dunk for Fame: Tournament Structure
The DCDG will span seven major regions: North America, Europe, Latin America, Mainland China, Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau, the Philippines, and Southeast Asia (excluding the Philippines).
The road to Shanghai features three key stages:
- Stage 1: Regional Open Qualifiers – Ongoing now until October 5, 2025, where registered teams compete in 8-group brackets. The top team from each group advances.
- Stage 2: Regional Finals – From October 11–12, 2025, the strongest qualifiers in each region face off, with the winning teams punching their ticket to the Global Finals.
- Stage 3: Global Championship Finals – A total of 10 elite teams will meet in Shanghai this November to battle for glory and the $100,000 prize pool.
