Electrogical Brings Mind-Bending Math Puzzles to Switch in 2025

Get ready to electrify your puzzle-solving skills with Electrogical, the arithmetic-based jigsaw puzzle game developed by kinjo and published by Phoenixx Inc. The game is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop in 2025, alongside its PC release. Early Access players on PC can enjoy the 1.1.0 update today, bringing a host of new features and improvements.

Electrogical, the award winner of the First GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest hosted by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Bandai Namco Studios Inc., continues its galactic terraforming mission with 25 new challenge stages, separate from the main missions. The update also introduces seven new trial stages with mysterious mechanics, quality-of-life updates like mousewheel zoom functionality, improved sound effects, and new language options in German and Russian.

In Electrogical, players step into the shoes of an electrical engineer tasked with repairing a space convoy by reconnecting each ship’s reactor to neko, the superconductive AI lifeblood of the armada’s electrical systems. Each circuit board is a puzzle that requires just the right amount of power to pass inspection. Players link computer chips equipped with mathematical functions to boost or dial down power, crank up voltage, and send sparks across distances.

Puzzle pieces can be rotated to redirect power flow, and “zero” tiles can fill spaces without altering energy levels. Some levels have a single solution, while others offer multiple paths to success, allowing for creative problem-solving. The handy “Hint” button is available for those tricky puzzles.

“Our optimization of the Early Access build has been bolstered by community requests, and we’ve thrown in some challenging surprises,” said Yutuka Kinjo, solo developer at kinjo. “Switch users can look forward to plenty of pickup-and-play puzzle solving. We have much more to share as we march towards the full release, stay tuned!”

Electrogical is available on Steam with language support in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, and Russian.
