EVOS Esports

After falling short by just seven points in 2024, EVOS made a triumphant comeback at the Esports World Cup: Free Fire 2025 Grand Final held on July 20, becoming the first team to hit Champion Rush with 80 points and claiming the ultimate Booyah! that sealed their title win.

Their performance not only avenged last year’s heartbreak, but also secures their spot for the FFWS Global Finals 2025, where 18 elite teams will battle in Jakarta, Indonesia from late October to mid-November.

Redemption in Riyadh: EVOS Strikes Gold

“We never imagined we’d make it to the champion’s stage,” said Aji Apri “AimGOD” Wicaksono, reflecting on the emotional journey. “After our disappointing Spring finish, we changed everything—our roles, our mindset—and today, all that work paid off. This win is for everyone who never stopped believing in us.”

EVOS Esports entered the Grand Final with a point to prove and wasted no time. They snagged the first Booyah! in Round 3, pulling ahead of powerhouses like Thailand’s Team Falcons—the 2024 defending champions.

But the battle was far from over.

Brazil’s LOS and fellow Indonesian squad Team Vitality each secured two Booyahs! and surged ahead, threatening EVOS’s early lead. It was in Round 10 that the tide turned. EVOS’s 16-year-old sniper prodigy Rasyah delivered a game-defining play, setting up their final Booyah! and bringing home the trophy.

Rasyah’s clutch performance earned him Final MVP honors, making him one of the youngest MVPs in Esports World Cup history—and it was his debut on the global stage.

The competitive fireworks won’t stop anytime soon.

Coming in early August, Free Fire All Stars will shake things up with an all-new Clash Squad format, pitting eight elite teams in a celebration of speed, skill, and spontaneity. Expect surprise matchups, fan-favorite players, and unpredictable highlights—a community-driven event showcasing the creative chaos Free Fire fans love.

Looking ahead, all eyes will turn to the Free Fire World Series Global Finals, where the top 18 teams from around the world will collide over three action-packed weekends starting in late October. With Jakarta as the host city, EVOS Esports will have home advantage as they chase another world title.
