At the EVO Awards, SNK CORPORATION announced exciting updates for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, including the full Season Pass 1 character lineup and details about the upcoming Open Beta. The game is set to launch on April 24, 2025, for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
The Season Pass 1 lineup features iconic characters from various fighting game franchises. Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li, FATAL FURY’s Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi, and Art of Fighting’s Mr. Big will join the roster throughout 2025 and 2026. Each DLC character is part of the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves – Special Edition, which includes the base game for $59.99 USD. Pre-ordering the game also grants players the classic FATAL FURY 2 costume for Terry Bogard.
The release schedule for the Season Pass 1 characters is as follows:
- Andy Bogard: Summer 2025
- Ken: Summer 2025
- Joe Higashi: Fall 2025
- Chun-Li: Winter 2025
- Mr. Big: Early 2026
The Open Beta test, running from February 20 to 24 (PST), will feature eight playable characters, including the newly announced Kain R. Heinlein, the ambitious mastermind and boss of GAROU: Mark of the Wolves. Players can battle it out on four stages—Training, Freight Express, B. Port, and Training Ground—and participate in online Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, Room Matches, and offline Tutorial mode.
