Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of Genshin Impact once again as HoYoverse announces the arrival of Version 5.4, “Moonlight Amidst Dreams,” on February 12. This update brings back the beloved Mikawa Flower Festival in Inazuma, offering players a chance to experience the centuries-old celebration alongside youkai. The festival promises a variety of engaging gameplay experiences, and the introduction of the new 5-star character, Yumemizuki Mizuki, adds even more excitement.
The Mikawa Flower Festival is a symbol of the bond between humans and youkai, and this year’s event is packed with reunions, challenges, and rewards. Players can look forward to the return of Raiden Shogun, who will be investigating a mysterious nightmare. The festival also features fun games from the “48-hour game development competition,” such as “A Little Fox’s Daydream,” where players guide a little fox through dreamscapes, and “Bunshin Phantasm,” a brain-teasing challenge involving Muji-Muji Daruma. The popular “Akitsu Yuugei” game returns with a twist as “Akitsu Harpastum,” where players must dodge bullets while keeping their vitality above zero. Participating in these games will earn Festival Stamps, which can be exchanged for rewards, including the new 4-star polearm, “Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.”
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a dedicated clinical psychologist and major shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse, joins the roster as a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user. Her Dreamdrifter state, activated by her Elemental Skill, deals AoE Anemo DMG and enhances her team’s Swirl DMG when nearby party members hit opponents with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro attacks. Her Elemental Burst summons a Mini Baku that creates Yumemi Style Special Snacks, which can either heal party members or deal AoE Anemo DMG. Mizuki will debut in the first half of Version 5.4’s Event Wishes, followed by reruns for Furina and Wriothesley in the second half. She will join the Standard Wish banner after the Version 5.5 update.
In addition to the festival, players can enjoy new events such as “Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter,” which offers slice-of-life stories of favorite characters, and mini-games like “Reel Ad-Venture,” “Invasive Fish Wrangler,” and “Realm of Tempered Valor.” The update also introduces system optimizations, including Level-Up Plans in the Training Guide, streamlined filter systems for Characters and Weapons, and an Auto Add button for Weapon Refinement.
