Genshin Impact fans and language learners are in for a fun, lore-filled surprise this holiday season. MiHoYo’s blockbuster open-world RPG is teaming up with Duolingo — the world’s most downloaded language-learning app — for a unique in-app event that blends study, rewards, and the irresistible charm of Teyvat’s beloved characters.
The Genshin Impact x Duolingo 3-Day Streak Quest is now live and runs until December 27, 2025, bringing Paimon, Tighnari, Cyno, and the ever-watchful Duo into your daily lessons for a crossover designed to inspire both game progression and consistent learning. With today’s date being December 10, there’s still plenty of time to join the event and secure exclusive rewards.
Genshin Impact Joins Duolingo for a Global Learning Quest
The collaboration officially began on December 8, introducing a special Duolingo-exclusive challenge. When learners open any course in the Duolingo app, they’ll find the new “Genshin Impact Quest,” which becomes available to all participants worldwide in supported regions.
Completing one unit lesson each day for three consecutive days unlocks the quest’s core mechanic: a limited-time opportunity to earn crossover collectibles in both apps. As your streak continues, Paimon and Duo will magically sculpt an in-app commemorative statue, symbolizing your persistence and a little hint of Teyvat’s whimsy.
Throughout the quest, familiar Genshin personalities — from the scholarly Tighnari to the ever-serious General Mahamatra Cyno — appear alongside Duo and Paimon to cheer learners on.
Exclusive Rewards for Dedicated Learners
Finishing the 3-Day Streak Quest earns players a suite of Genshin Impact rewards, including the “Diligent Study” avatar, the namecard “Celebration: Dream Reader,” and the charming Sumeru-inspired dish Spiced Fried Chicken, complete with its recipe.
Participants will also receive Primogems and an event-exclusive namecard, perfect for players looking to customize their in-game profile during the ongoing Version Luna III update — which recently introduced Durin, a new 5-Star Pyro character, along with a fresh story chapter set in Nod-Krai.
Reward codes can be redeemed via the Duolingo app’s Shop page anytime before December 30, 2025 (UTC). Once obtained, players have until January 31, 2026, 15:59:59 (UTC) to claim their goodies inside Genshin Impact.
Event Availability and How to Join
The Genshin Impact x Duolingo event runs from December 8–27, with December 25 marked as the final day learners can begin the quest and still complete the full 3-day requirement before the event ends. Availability varies per region, so users are encouraged to check their local event status directly in the Duolingo app.
More information is available through Duolingo’s official help page.
A Celebration of Learning and Adventure
This collaboration marks one of the most charming crossovers of the year, blending Genshin Impact’s whimsical worldbuilding with Duolingo’s playful approach to language learning. Whether you’re studying Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or any other language, the duo of Paimon and Duo is ready to guide you — loudly, lovingly, and with plenty of jokes along the way.
With exclusive rewards, limited-time collectibles, and appearances from fan-favorite characters, Genshin Impact x Duolingo delivers the perfect mix of fun and motivation to keep your streak alive this December.
