Riot Games and VALORANT have just unveiled an exciting new addition to their roster: Tejo, a veteran intelligence consultant from Colombia. Tejo’s unique abilities and tactical prowess are set to shake up the battlefield, offering players fresh strategies and thrilling gameplay.
Tejo’s abilities are designed to keep opponents off balance and under pressure. His Special Delivery equips a sticky grenade that can be launched to stick to surfaces and explode, concussing any targets caught in the blast. For a different approach, players can use the ALT FIRE to launch the grenade with a single bounce.
With Stealth Drone, Tejo can deploy a drone that he controls directly. This drone can suppress and reveal enemies, providing crucial intel and disrupting enemy plans. Guided Salvo allows Tejo to select up to two target locations on the map and launch missiles that autonomously navigate to these points, detonating on arrival.
Tejo’s ultimate ability, Armageddon, is a game-changer. Players can select the origin point of a tactical strike and set the end point to unleash a wave of explosions along the strike path. This devastating attack can turn the tide of battle in an instant.
In addition to Tejo, VALORANT is introducing a new content type called Flex. These handheld objects give players more ways to express themselves in-game and can be equipped via Collections. To celebrate the launch of Flex, players will receive a free Flex, with a second one available in the Season 2025 // Act I Battlepass.
This act also brings a new skinline, EX.O, inspired by futuristic and sci-fi themes. Weapons included in EX.O are the Vandal, Sheriff, Spectre, Outlaw, and the EX.O Edge Katana. The new Battlepass will feature items such as the Celestia Ghost, Epilogue: Tactical Spacewar Card, Hieroscape Blades (Dual Melee), Moon Scout Outlaw, Scaredy Cow Gun Buddy, and Stellar Dendrite Flex.
