Honkai Impact 3rd fans, get ready for an exciting new update! The action-packed title is launching version 8.1, titled “Drumming in New Resolutions,” on February 20th. This update brings a host of anniversary events, new outfits, and bountiful rewards for players to enjoy.
One of the highlights of v8.1 is the debut of Kiana’s new battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. This SD-type battlesuit wields a long staff to sweep enemies and deal significant Fire DMG. Each hit of her 4-sequence attack accumulates KE, with the 4th hit inflicting Passion Marks on enemies for AOE damage. Players can also equip Kiana with her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM to stack additional Passion Marks on enemies. The update also introduces new stigmata for Kiana, depicting scenes of her celebrating with friends and family.
The story interlude in v8.1 delves deeper into the character Leylah. Players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and more by participating in the interlude story and activities. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana returns to the real world with Rice Cake and receives a new mission from Theresa, leading them to festive celebrations at the Moon Base. This event features a fun board where players can purchase Yearly Chibis to build their team and earn shop tokens to exchange for Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit, and other fantastic rewards. Luna and Vita will also receive new outfits, available through spend bonuses and Outfit Supply, respectively.
To celebrate the anniversary, several login events are planned. From February 13th to February 20th, players can log in to receive a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Logging in for seven days after the update will grant Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and Equipment Supply Card x10. From February 25th to March 4th, players can log in to obtain an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and more. Additionally, players can save 50% on the first 10 drops of Kiana’s Battlesuit Supply and earn double rewards from first top-ups. The Carnival Supply’s pool rotation will reward participants with 10x Carnival Battlesuit Supply Card x2, and 5x Battlesuit Supply Cards will be sent via in-game mail on the day of the update.
