HoYoverse has officially revealed that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6, titled “Back to Earth in Evernight,” will arrive on September 24. This highly anticipated update introduces two powerful new 5-star characters—Evernight and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae—alongside fresh game modes, seasonal events, and a replay system for story missions.

Evernight Joins as a 5-Star Ice Character
At long last, the enigmatic Evernight steps out of the shadows to become a playable character. Following the Path of Remembrance, she harnesses the power of memosprites to deal devastating damage while boosting their effectiveness in battle.
Her companion, Evey, grows stronger the more “Memoria” Evernight accumulates, eventually unleashing a massive attack on all enemies. Activating her Ultimate enhances both her and Evey through the “Darkest Riddle” state, further amplifying their damage output. Fans of synergy-driven team play will find Evernight an essential addition to their roster.
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae Available for Free
A fan-favorite Astral Express member, Dan Heng returns in a new form—Permansor Terrae—after mastering yet another stage of his evolving power. Now aligned with the Path of Permanence, he takes on the role of a defensive powerhouse, summoning a Souldragon that shields allies, dispels debuffs, and launches follow-up attacks.
Even more exciting, from September 24 until the end of Version 4.0, all Trailblazers with Trailblaze Level 3+ can unlock Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae for free simply by logging in. For many players, this is a can’t-miss opportunity to add a free 5-star unit to their team.
New Game Modes and Events in Version 3.6
Beyond new characters, Version 3.6 expands gameplay with:
